Sam started his musical career early in school band. After graduating, he traveled for three years, full time with a Vancouver band. After settling on Vancouver Island, Sam played with and led several bands including The Fermenters, The Ecclestones and then co-founded Bijoux Du Bayou in 1997. Sam plays guitar, mando, flute and sings with Bijoux.
